We do not only talk. We have also re-thought our priorities.

Acting with heart & mind

The pandemic over the last year and the forced breaks have also given us more time to re-think daily life and retrospectively we realize: We emerged even stronger from the situation. Now it is more obvious than ever before what, apart from economic success, is really important for us! Our health and the fun at work.

Due to the change in the entry regulations to Austria, from 20 December for our guests from 12 years of age:

- Where the 2G rule applied (fully vaccinated/ recovered), the 2G Plus rule will be introduced, i.e. only vaccinated & recovered persons may travel with a negative PCR test (max. 72 hours old). Vaccinated persons with the 3rd booster vaccination are exempt from the additional PCR test obligation.

- Unvaccinated or only 1x vaccinated children from the age of 12 to 15 years need the Holiday Ninja Pass for the 2G Plus proof. In addition, at least 2 PCR tests per week during the stay are required. This PCR test exemption also applies to pregnant women and persons who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons (a medical certificate must be provided).

- FFP2 masks must be worn in the public areas of the hotel.

- the validity of the complete vaccination certificates will be reduced from twelve to nine months

Proactivity & common sense more in demand than ever before

Since the beginning of the summer season, we have been continuously implementing the guidelines recommended by the responsible authorities to contain the corona virus. More on this under FAQ Covid 19. For some guests, these measures go too far, for others they are not enough. In this case, meeting all guets requirements is a special challenge. We always appeal to our guests to take responsibility, but we also go further with targeted measures ...

Our COVID-19 prevention concept

We all take a lot of things for granted - after all, we are constantly confronted with them in our daily lives. We are convinced of the usefulness of vaccination, but we also respect the opinion of those who think differently. With common sense and based on respectful interaction with each other, we have adapted our working methods to the changed conditions with targeted measures. These include:

Our employees are always "up-to-date

  • All employees are continuously trained with regard to COVID-19. Basic knowledge, hygiene guidelines, cleaning of spaces, ventilation of rooms, compliance with minimum distances, etc. are the focus of daily meetings
  • The measures are trained "on the job" and ongoing checks by means of checklists ensure the implementation of our internal guidelines
  • The measures are evaluated on an ongoing basis. In the event that new information becomes available, the measures are adapted accordingly

Hygiene concept

  • Through equalization measures (time shifting, signs, directional arrows, etc.) we try to avoid guest congestion in the hotel as best as possible
  • Our employees pay special attention to the disinfection of critical contact points such as elevator buttons, door handles, menus etc.
  • When cleaning the sanitary facilities, the already high hygiene requirements have been increased and cleaning intervals shortened accordingly. Cleaning is carried out more frequently and more thoroughly
  • Sufficient disinfection dispensers have been installed throughout the hotel. If necessary, our guests receive FFP2 masks free of charge
  • Our guests have the possibility to use disinfection dispensers and gloves at central points in the restaurant

Safety measures for employees

  • our employees wear FFP2 masks to protect themselves and the guests. The masks are changed at regular intervals
  • Our employees wash and disinfect their hands continuously and/or wear disposable gloves
  • almost all team members are already vaccinated, in addition our employees are regularly PCR tested
  • The state of health of our employees is checked when they start work. In case of visible symptoms of illness, the employee remains off duty

The legal framework conditions change continuously. In some cases, different guidelines apply depending on the country of origin of our guests. Here we have compiled a collection of the most important sources of information for you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our reception.

The Seespitz team - always CoV tested

We are one of the very few hotels in Seefeld to be able to use the “Testangebot Tourismus” of the Austrian Ministry of Tourism, which is offered as part of the “Safe Hospitality” initiative. Since June 2020, all Seespitz employees have been tested for the SARS-CoV 2 pathogen regularly. Fortunately, not a single “positive” finding has been reported so far. We are happy about this and hope that it continues to go well.

The phrase “Your health is important to us!” Is not just a mere phrase.
Stay healthy and hopefully see you soon at Seespitz.
