Accessibility Statement

Our goal is to make our website accessible in accordance with national regulations implementing the European Accessibility Directive (EU) Directive 2019/882.

This accessibility statement applies to Seespitz.at

Status of compliance with the requirements

Our website already partially meets the requirements of WCAG 2.2 level AA and the European Standard EN 301 549. Full accessibility is not yet achieved due to some exceptions and technical limitations.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Incompatibility with the accessibility regulations

• Currently, there are no text alternatives available for some non-text content on non-booking-relevant pages, which only partially meets the criterion 1.1.1 – Text Alternatives. It is planned to provide appropriate text alternatives for all non-text content.

• The badge "Adults and Residents only" on the homepage contradicts the criterion 1.4.5 Images of Text but serves a purely decorative purpose.

b) Disproportionate burden

• On the English version of the website, alternative texts and accessible labels are currently not consistently available in the respective page language. This violates the criterion 3.1.2 – Language of Parts. Remediation would require comprehensive editorial and technical adjustments, which would constitute a disproportionate burden. Gradual improvement as part of future revisions is planned.

c) The content is not within the scope of the applicable regulations.

Some content on our website is not subject to the legal accessibility requirements:

• Older documents: Content published before 28 June 2025 is exempt from the legal requirements. Therefore, no comprehensive adjustments are currently planned for these documents.
• External content: Our website may include documents or content from third parties (Websline, TVB) that are neither created, funded, nor controlled by us. We cannot make any statements about the accessibility of this content.

The assessment of accessibility was carried out through a self-test based on WCAG 2.2 level AA.
